Welcome to the Gender STI Community of Practice!
We are an international collaborative community to stimulate the participation of women in Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) dialogues between Europe and third countries. We focus on three main areas of research: gender equality in scientific careers, gender balance in decision making and the integration of the gender dimension in Research and Innovation (R&I) content.
We invite the members of the Community of Practice to participate, suggest new topics, and follow the latest discussions through our workspace.

Goals and Mission
Sponsored by the Gender STI project, the Gender STI Community of Practice (CoP) acts as a multi-stakeholder collaboration platform to address specific issues on the integration of the gender perspective in Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) dialogues and international cooperation between Europe and third countries.
The CoP promotes good practices, opportunities and knowledge on current trends on gender equality in STI and critical challenges such as gender equality in scientific careers, gender balance in decision making and the integration of the gender dimension in Research and Innovation (R&I) content.
The CoP contributes significantly to bilateral and multilateral dialogues on gender equality and inclusiveness. It identifies new and emerging issues related to gender equality in STI and facilitates knowledge exchange between policy makers, researchers, gender equality experts, and other key stakeholders worldwide.

The Gender STI Community of Practice gathers more than 200 members coming from different backgrounds spread worldwide . The members of the CoP have become ambassadors to promote gender equality in STI dialogues and international cooperation between Europe and third countries.
